I worked part time as a lifeguard for 10 years. When I was in university it provided me with, not only a decent income, but a sense of commitment, strength and leadership. My lifeguarding days came to an end when it finally lost its challenge. I would sit on the lifeguard chair longing for it to be a director’s chair. On my last day as a lifeguard I came up with the script for this film. I filmed it in an evening and edited it on a low memory computer in one day and handed it in for a school project. It was fun to work on and in the end I was quite proud of the result.
