This was quite the experience in creating. I had everything prepared location-wise, catering, costumes etc. I met with the main actress several times to go over the film script. On the day of the shoot, film set ready to go, she failed to show up. In fact she never called and to this day I haven't heard from her. It upset me but I was determined to finish the film. Since it had to be shot outdoors I waited eagerly till the late spring and decided to act in it myself. This was my most successful film and I'm happy I didn't give up on it. It won the best narrative award at the Hart House Film Board Gala and I'm presently submitting it to more festivals.
